By definition there is a difference between joy and happiness, joy is the inner state that is rarely affected by the happenings and normally at peace regardless of the outward situation while happiness is directly dependent to the happenings on the surrounding and circumstances. Many people are able to pretend and appear happy regardless of the misery and agony that they go through, it is clear, though, that when an individual does not show much while projecting a calm orientation it means they are genuinely fulfilled. Some people tend to be very sensitive when arguing or discussing certain topics with their peers thus they end up depressed and mad at the end. One should practice to keep an open mind when in these situation since they tend to be full of emotions and the wrong things could be said and thus spark some animosity.

It is important to be able to get the best opportunity out of every adversity thus having a positive mind could help to decipher the haystack and get the best out of it. Complaining will not get the problem solved so this virtue should be practiced at the utmost best to make the situation better and adaptable.

As much as hard work pays, patience is also very important since it helps the individual to be able to cope with any challenge and get the right results. The things that we can manipulate in this world are our thoughts thus we should let other things to play them out and fall into place.

It is important to be able to assess a situation and act accordingly, if this is not done correctly it increases the chances of conflict between people. One should learn to act in accordance to the mood that the place that they are is depicting, time could be of the essence but the results are much more important and so is the happiness of the individual. Knowing yourself and believing in personal ability is very vital, many insecure people tend to depend on superficial matters to define them. Understanding your worth and fostering that to others command respect and honor which leads to happiness, many people tend to believe in an individual who has much confidence in themselves.

Self-love and appreciation is another key habit that brings positivity in the life of an individual, the energy manifests in everything that one does making the life better. It can be taught if one has had some traumatizing life to change for the better.
